How much do you charge?

Do you offer a guarantee?

Yes, we offer two guarantees. If you are not satisfied with your first lesson of between 60 and 75 minutes, you can get a full refund of that first session. In addition, if you are not satisfied with my services in any way, you can request a refund of any unused tutoring sessions within 90 days of the purchase date.

Do you require a contract?

I do have a very simple and fair contract that protects both you as the client and me as the tutor. You will have the opportunity to see and read the contract before signing it. The skeleton of the contract consists of the following:

  1. Designating which price and package you have selected, and a preferred or viable location. For more details on the packages and prices, please visit pricing page.
  2. Acknowledgment of the session cancellation policy (described below).
  3. Acknowledgment that you can cancel the package at any time and for any reason within 90 days of the package purchase time.
  4. Confidentiality agreement.

What is your cancellation policy?

My cancellation policy is very generous, and is the same as for any verbal contract I have ever had. Essentially you are allowed three cancellations within each calendar year or within each 20 sessions. Allowed cancellations cannot be accumulated, and you are allowed at most three cancellations within each year or within each 20 sessions. Successful rescheduling does not count as a cancellation, but cancellations close to standardized test times and within 24 hours of a tutoring session are not allowed. Whenever no rescheduling is possible, a missed session will count as a cancellation. Further, any easing of this policy on occasion is not to be deemed a waiver of this policy.

I recommend conserving your cancellations, because it is difficult to predict what will happen later in the year. I have had customers use their cancellations quickly only to need them later in the year.

What payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept cash, checks, money orders, or bank checks.
